The Hamlet MicroFlex is a multiformat multistandard handheld waveform, vector, audio picture monitor.Using a built-in 3.5" diagonal high quality TFT display shows the picture in 4:3 or 16:9 formats. Also shows conventional waveform, vector and audio displays together with data analysis.Easy to plug-in input option modules allow operation in all current formats and enables future standards to be accommodated. The first module available will be a Standard/high definition input module with embedded audio decoder (one BNC). Other modules will become available including Analogue video module for PAL & NTSC composite, and Audio only.Audio levels can be shown as stereo bar graphs in a variety of standards, together with a vector phase display. Audio can be monitored on the internal speaker or via headphones. Accurate timing and level measurements can be made with digital cursors. Extensive error monitoring including EDH, colour gamut etc.Computer downloads via USB. Coloured traces, Line Select,. Stuck bit detect (no activity on one data line).Ergonomically designed machined aluminum case, max 213 x 114 x 46 mm.Carry case available to hold the unit and its option modules.Operates for over 2 hours on 6 x AA batteries or from the supplied 12V power adaptor.Optional external battery charger available.This product contains proprietary patented designs.

Video and Audio Media Verification Offline and online analysis software package running on a Windows XP PC platform

The Hamlet Reel-Check is a Windows PC software based video and audio media measurement tool.
Quality control is one of the methods broadcaster are starting to use on the incoming media be it file, tape format or a live feed to make sure it is compliant to their required published
standards, which include standard tests like gamut and safe area and now also items like flashing in the video, if the media fails these checks they are returned sometimes with no reason given.
ReelCheck can analyze various media files and inputs from any server across a network against a template in:-
Real time when the video and audio can be monitored for other potential problems like failing safe area cages
Or
In faster than real time unattended checking.
Both methods give simple pass/fail indication and also a
comprehensive log file so that the precise location of the error
against time code can be identified reviewed and corrected.

The Hamlet VidScope is a software based television monitoring and
measurement tool. Operating on a Windows platform, the Waveform monitor, Vectorscope and associated Surround Sound 3D Audio displays with the Picture can all be displayed on the PC's monitor screen, stored or transmitted as required.
The real time Hamlet VidScope displays look like those on conventional waveform monitors with variable intensity, persistence and graticule brightness.
The Audio bar graphs displays have peak hold and may have the associated graticules scales and ballistics selectable from digital, VU, PPM and Nordic etc.
The user can scale all displays to be any size from full screen to thumbnails.
Screen Layout permits a user defined multi window split display in the HD versions. All layouts can be saved with the other VidScope setting as users defined presets for convenient recall.
Waveforms can be displayed in field, frame and line select modes. In Line select mode all frame's lines are overlaid in real time with the recurrent features displayed in higher intensities. Horizontal scaling can be set between 1H and full frame and amplitude between half scale and x 10. Luminance only,
Chrominance, YCrCb or RGB parades or stacks can be displays as can statistical and gamut displays.
Markers can be inserted into the preview display to show the region being investigated. IN Vector Mode a standard graticule is shown with scaling of 75 or 100% or variable gain.
