The Hamlet Adept is a multiformat capable video monitoring instrument with On Screen Display (OSD) which also has a built in generator. This, the first of its kind in the world, is part of a unique range of units.Due to the unit having both generation and monitoring in one box it is ideal where space is at a premium like OB vehicles and for engineers who need something with full functionality and portable for use in any location in the world.The Adept provides SD SDI*; analog component; YC (S-video); and composite 625 and 525 multi-standard measurement and monitoring capability, including line select, bow tie and gamut indication. With new proprietary processing and filtering the Adept produces familiar high quality composite trace displays, which may be transmitted to any composite or YC monitor with SD SDI* or Hi Res* outputs as options. Operator display configuration recall is provided with a 10 mode store and recall facility. Easy instant access to all operating functions ensures a very short operator learning curve.The Adept is a low power, compact replacement for CRT measuring units in all pre and postproduction areas. Powered by mains or 12vdc it may be used for transportable environments.Only 1U high and half rack width it can be rack mounted or used stand-alone. Primarily analog the unit can have SD SDI* options included to complete its flexibility. Analog, AES and Embedded * audio capability allows the audio to be monitored both on screen and through headphones.

A In the menu select the test function select the required signal (this signal is now being generated out of the output connector) connect from the output connector to the device under test connect the device under test to the correct input of the Adept connect the Adept viewing monitor to the WFM connector this will allow you to view the measurement waveforms (but not the picture)
