The LCDSCOPE SDWVA has been designed to satisfy specific requirements requested by cost conscious users who need high quality, accuracy combined with familiar and intuitive operation.
The new versions of the popular LCDSCOPE include extensive functionality, offering a value proposition perfect for these times. The LCDSCOPE takes the familiar half rack width form factor but uses a high resolution TFT screen for high precision and minimum depth. The new SDWVA version offers composite, component and SDI inputs for 525 and 625, and the new HDWVA adds all of today’s high definition formats as well. Functionality in the new instruments includes gamut violation displays and Hamlet’s innovative HFT hands-free timing feature, designed to make timing of signals. To complete the toolset, the instruments can measure four analogue and four embedded digital audio channels with polar phase displays. The units are powered either by a 12V dc mains adaptor or from an internal battery pack for field operations.

Options:
Q. How do I switch to RGB parade mode?
why cannot change the Parade over to RGB by doing the PARADE key/Power on as in Manual.
A. This is due to Displaying BOTH Waveform & Vectors whilst trying to do the change,so must be in Wave form Only
Q.I am running on mains and have no display on the screen.
A. If the battery switch is up i.e. run on batteries then after a time the batteries will flatten and not be able to power the display. When in this mode the mains power is not recharging the batteries
Q. Is the HDWVA suitable for multiformat monitoring situation
A. Yes
Q. Can I listen to the audio?
A. There is a headphone socket located on the back panel
Q.How do I adjust the volume of the audio?
A. There is a volume control located on the back panel
Q. How do I change the group to view from an embedded audio signal?
A. There is a set of 8 small switches in a row on the back panel. Switches 1 and 2 (4 options for the binary combination) allow the different groups to be selected
Q. How do I change the audio scale?
A. There is a set of 8 small switches in a row on the back panel. Switches 3 and 4 (4 options for the binary combination) allow the different scales to be selected
Q. How do I change the audio from analogue to digital?
A. There is a set of 8 small switches in a row on the back panel. Switch 6 allows the selection of either digital or analogue audio
Q. I am looking at an RGB signal but the display looks like a YUV picture
A. There is a set of 4 small switches in a row on the back panel. Switch 1 allows the selection between YUV and RGB inputs
Q. How long will the internal batteries last?
A. About 2-3 hours depending on usage
