Matrix Switch Corporation HD / SDI distribution amplifiers combine exceptional performance with value. The compact size of these distribution amplifiers allows them to be located in spaces where rack space is limited.
The MSC-HDDA4 and MSC-HDDA16 include 143MBPS, 270MBPS / 1.484GBPS Auto Rate Detection with "Power OK", "Lock" and "HD" indicators. The MSC-HDDA4G3 and MSC-HDDA16G3 add 2.97GBPS 1080P 60Hz to the Auto Rate Detection system. The MSC-AES/SPDIF4 is specifically designed for 75 ohm digital audio distribution. It features a wide range input circuit. Which will accept any level from 100MV P-P up to 5V P-P to produce four individually buffered 1V P-P outputs.The MSC-SDI/ASI incorporates the same 1,000 foot automatic cable equalizer circuit used in the HD distribution amplifiers coupled to four in phase independent output drivers. In addition to providing the required ASI phase to all outputs, the MSC-SDI/ASI is a very cost effective product for applications that are SDI and not HD.

These Matrix Switch Corporation HD / SDI distribution amplifiers include front edge indicators for power on, HD detected and Re-clocker lock indication. The 16 output MSC-HDDA16 HD-SDI Distribution Amplifier is a unique device. By combining a single HD-SDI input equalizer and multi-rate re-clocker with a transparent fan-out to 16 identical outputs, the MSC-HDDA16 can be used in place of five separate four out HD-SDI Distribution Amplifiers with better performance and lower cost.
If separate Distribution Amplifiers are cascaded, each Distribution Amplifier adds unwanted jitter. And because each amplifier has equalization and re-clocking, the outputs from different amplifiers will have different characteristics. MSC-HDDA16 HD-SDI Distribution Amplifier would be an excellent choice for distributing reference signals throughout a facility of any other HD SDI source that needs to be the same in many places. Two MSC-HDDA16 HD-SDI Distribution Amplifiers can be mounted in a 1RU space providing wide distribution of one or two HD-SDI signals to 31 or 32 destinations.
