Its rustproof alloy enclosure is built to absorb every day knocks and bumps. User safety is paramount, so this battery powered unit can be used confidently in environments such as un-grounded bays and in pouring rain. The case is sealed to the highest IP65 waterproof standards. With one BNC input socket automatic detection of SD SDI or composite input video signal is indicated on LEDs. An indication is also provided of the SD SDI signal’s nominal cable length on one of two LEDs for less than 100M or greater than 100M. WhichWire automatically powers up on detection of SD SDI or composite video. Powered by easily changed, universally available AA cells. Hamlet thoroughly recommends fitting high-energy Alkaline cells. Safety is paramount, especially in the rain!
