| I only
get one analogue audio bar on screen Power down the instrument, hold the 'Y' button in then power on again (you are resetting the instrument)
|
| Is there
a reset for the instrument Power down the instrument, hold the 'Y' button in then power on again (unless you have a very early instrument then you need to hold the configure button down)
|
| I recall
a user set-up and the instrument locks up This is due to the user setup you selected having nothing in it, to solve the problem turn the instrument off, hold the 'B' blue button down and power on .(this preloads all the user set-ups with a simple factory recall set-up)
|
| In parade
mode I only get Luminance (white), R and B traces no G Select configure then set-up then change the component output from 3 channel to 4 channel output
|
| I have
connected an active SDI signal but the instrument does not identify the
signal as being present On the back panel there is an SDI input and an SDI loop out, usually the cause is that the signal is on the loop out not hte input, there is a buffer between the in and out so it is not reversible
|
| The instrument
will not start? there is an internal battery that if it falls below about 1.5 volts will not allow the instrument to start This should only occur on rare occasions for instruments over 3 years old. contact your local distributor to arrage for a new battery to be fitted

does not work completely? there is an internal battery that if it falls below about 3.0 volts will not allow the instrument to fully function. This should only occur on rare occasions for instruments over 3 years old. contact your local distributor to arrage for a new battery to be fitted

| What
does the jitter figure on the alarm screen represent The figure shown directly relates to how hard the PLL in the instrument is working to lock on to the input SDI signal 0 is the best figure where the PLL is having no difficulty locking a high figure of about 40 is a serious problem for stability and close to the PLL losing lock
|
| How long
will the internal batteries last? about 2-3 hours depending on usage
