| The Hamlet VidScope-Pro
is software based Television Monitoring and Measurement tool suite for
Windows™ based PCs users. It provides a means to waveform monitor and
vectorscope, but displayed on the PC’s monitor screen. The source video
can be either DV via a Firewire IEEE- 1394 port, or with a suitable capture
card, SDI or analogue TV sources. VidScope-Pro displays look like conventional
waveform monitors with variable intensity, persistence and graticule brightness.
Additionally the user can scale them to be any size from full screen to
thumbnails as any for other floating window. Screen layout can be saved
with other VidScope settings as user-defined presets for convenient recall.
Waveforms can be either displayed in Field, Frame and Line modes.
Horizontal scaling can be set between 1H and full frame with either
interlaced or progressive line formats. Waveforms can be selected in
Luma only, Component Y,Pr,Pb or RGB parades displayed. Markers can be
inserted into the on-screen preview monitor to show region of
interest.
In Vector display mode, a standard graticule is shown with scaling to
either 75% or 100% bars or user variable gain up to 300%.
